Reiki and visionary painting synergy (4.5 day Retreat)
In this Creative deep dive Izzy has formed the next generation of her Anchoring Light course and combined it with teaching a certified Reiki course. It covers the traditional elements, however this isn’t Reiki as you know it. Izzy teaches her ‘Lemurian Roots’ version, a variation that has been brought up to the current paradigm. In this synthesis of a teachings she also introduces how to use oil paints.
Reiki (also know as life-force or god-force energy) is the perfect counterpart to painting visionary art as it clears the meridian system of blocked energy, harmonizes our energy field and thus allows greater flow of energy to effortlessly move through us.
It is beneficial for our health, emotions, and general well being, including simply feeling amazing when we give ourselves a session or incorporate it into our art.
It also amplifies the journey and outcome of the painting we are creating as it strengthens our intuitive capabilities, allowing us to paint for longer without the mind distraction as reiki brings us back to our hearts, our centre and the present moment.
The foundational building block to every visionary artists tool kit, intention and the ability to channel life force energy onto the canvas that speaks beyond the mind is beautiful yet powerful way to share a lot of healing information simply in the glimpse of an eye.
This new course will also be an introduction to Oil paints. The course is for beginners and for the more established artist as this techniques are unusual but extremely effective for capturing energy, glowing, twinkling holographic images. Izzy will be sharing many of her secret tips and tricks to create this magical effect.
During her shorter Anchoring light class we are guided how to get out of our own way to let spirit dance us and ground light codes and symbolism from our higher self through deep guided meditations however these were in essence a reiki container Izzy is helped to hold, however she believes in giving others the tools so they can do this for themselves at any moment, to feel empowered to clear their energy, bring peace to their mind and harmony to their energy system.
Note – We are talking about life force energy, something that all energy-based healing is comprised of, yet we use the term Reiki as this is the most recognised and accessible term that allows it to be incorporated into more mainstream spirituality.

It is at least as beneficial as mediation as it allows you to drop deeper beyond surface reality, quietens the minds and allows for a healing theta state. Yet it is actually easier to do as as it feels so good!

WHAT IS REIKI AND HOW CAN IT BENEFIT MYSELF AND OTHERS ?
We all have natural healing abilities but when we can tune directly in to the incredible life force energy that is all around us we have exponentially more to share. By connecting into this energy in its purest simplest form and allowing ourselves to be tubes for focusing it with heart, intention and presence, we may share and experience deep inner shifts back to wholeness.
Reiki simply means ‘Life force energy’ and although it has been anchored as a modality from Japan, its roots go back way beyond. From the dawning of time our ancestors have used this form of ancient healing by tuning in to being conduits of the Divine and focusing this vision of wholeness for healing our energy body, which in turn affects our physical, mental and emotional and is the core to all dis-ease.
Using the navigation system of the chakras we are able to move blockages and clear the aura of anything that is holding us back or making us feel tired or lack-lustre.
As we go through our lives it is natural that we may experience trauma in a range of intensities, often these stay in our energy system, over time moving in to the physical and making us sick. Just as we look after our car, our home and our bodies, this is an excellent way to keep our energy in optimum functionality, Reiki is like doing a spring clean for the spirit, though it can also go much deeper than this.
During your journey with reiki it is likely your intuition and psychic abilities will increase, also as you let go of elements that are of a lower vibration, your outer reality will start to shift to become in alignment with the life your soul is calling you to lead.
Izzy has been practicing Reiki for over 13 years and although she has also worked with other modalities, she has always returned to reiki as it is such a simple and effective delivery system which allows a flexibility in adding our own creativity and intuitive approach.
It is wonderful to experience a reiki session however I feel it is even more profound to be able to heal yourself as and when you need to, it is also a beautiful offering to gift to others, especially loved ones during times of need. To be able to offer this gift without anything but your presence in any circumstance can go a long way.
In this class you will learn about the energy field and the chakra system, the history of reiki and how to give a session to yourself and others. You will learn the hand positions, ways to set up the space for optimum experience and also tips for protection, intention, clearing and ways to enhance your psychic sight. You will receive a guide book, a certification for Reiki level one and of course the attunements.
Every teacher has a different flavour of reiki and Izzy has generated an array of tips during my sacred journey with it. The reiki she works with has its roots in Lemuria however she also likes to tune in to the energies of nature and mother earth for a two-way awareness and connection, it also honours the shadow and brings in grounded elements.
